Tour Overview:

Location #1:
WENDAKE AND QUEBEC CITY TOUR
Guided tour of the traditional Huron site of Wendake. During this visit, you'll have the opportunity to explore a traditional house while learning about the history of Canadian First Nations.
Afterwards, you'll enjoy a guided tour of Quebec City, the cradle of French culture in North America and the only fortified city north of Mexico City. Because Old Quebec is such a special place of worldwide interest, Quebec City was the first North American city to be registered on UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage list.
Location #2:
TADOUSSAC
Embark on a three-hour whale-watching cruise in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, one of the world’s best locations to observe marine life. From humpback and minke whales to the iconic beluga, this region offers unforgettable encounters with the giants of the sea.
As you sail the confluence of the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence River, expert guides will share insights into the park’s unique ecosystem, making this excursion a true highlight of the Post-Congress Tour.

Location #3:
GROSSE ÎLE
Journey to Grosse-Île, a National Historic Site set in the St. Lawrence River that holds a profound place in Canada’s immigration history. From 1832 to 1937, it served as a quarantine station for newcomers arriving at the port of Québec, many of them in search of a new beginning. Tens of thousands passed through its gates, leaving behind stories of hope, resilience, and loss.
Today, visitors can explore preserved buildings, memorials, and guided exhibits that bring these experiences to life, offering a moving perspective on the challenges faced by those who helped shape Canada’s multicultural heritage.
Location #4:
MONTMORENCY FALLS
AND ÎLE D’ORLÉANS
On this day, you'll be able to admire the “Chutes Montmorrency”, located just a few minutes from the National Capital. Interestingly, the Chutes Montmorrency are higher than Niagara Falls. Afterwards, set off to discover Île d'Orléans, a city that combines all the charms of the province of Quebec! With its French-inspired built heritage and many houses reminiscent of Normandy, the island beautifully evokes its French-Canadian origins.

Location #5:
CITADELLE DE QUÉBEC AND
THE CANYON SAINTE ANNE
La Citadelle de Québec is an emblematic site offering one of the finest views of the St. Lawrence River and the city. In use for over 300 years, it is one of the oldest active military sites in North America. Even today, it is home to the Royal 22ᵉ Regiment. An ideal visit to discover history and admire a unique panorama.
Canyon Sainte-Anne is an unforgettable excursion for young and old alike! Explore the 1.2-billion-year-old walls that stretch along the trail through the deepest banks of the Rivière Sainte-Anne-du-Nord. Discover the 74-metre-high waterfall (higher than Niagara!) and climb the three suspension bridges to enjoy a privileged view.
