ISPRS 2026 Award Information
The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) celebrates outstanding contributions to the field through a wide range of awards and honours, presented at each quadrennial Congress. Individuals and organizations are invited to submit nominations in accordance with each award’s criteria and deadlines.

Nomination Process:
Nominations must be submitted in writing (email accepted) to an ISPRS Council member. A web-based submission system will also be available via isprs.org/society/awards.aspx. Self-nomination is permitted only for selected awards.

ISPRS Student Consortium Awards
Excellence Award:
Recognizes outstanding papers published by students/young researchers in ISPRS journals or proceedings. Four finalists from the pre-Congress years are considered, with one overall winner receiving a certificate and a USD 1000 prize.
Service Award:
Presented to an individual for exceptional contributions to the Student Consortium during the Congress term. Includes a certificate and USD 1000 prize.

CRSS-SCT Student Awards
National Best Master’s Thesis:
The CRSS-SCT issues a Student Award for the best thesis at the Master’s level and the best thesis at the Ph.D. level. The recipients of these Awards will receive a certificate and will be invited to present the results of their thesis at the following Canadian Symposium
on Remote Sensing. He/she will receive CAD1500 from CRSS-SCT to support their travel to the symposium. Symposium registration will be complimentary.
Student Symposium Travel Grants:
Up to three (3) CRSS Symposium Travel Grants of CAD1500 each are available to students (B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. level) enrolled at a
Canadian university or college to attend the Congress.
