Congress Assistance Grants
Supporting global participation and advancing excellence in photogrammetry and remote sensing
Additional financial support is available for international attendees from the Global South. This includes a Leaders Circle Research Grant and a donation from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary.

The Toronto Leaders Circle is a distinguished network of Canadian experts committed to enhancing the city’s global reputation by bringing international meetings to Toronto. Students and Young Professionals are invited to apply for a Conference Assistance Grant for financial assistance to attend the Congress. Eligibility and application requirements will be provided on the Congress website well in advance of the submission deadline.
As part of the ISPRS 2026 Congress, we are offering two grant opportunities. The Professional Stream focuses on non-presenting professionals, whereas the TIF Travel Grant Program targets students and presenters.
TIF Program:
For presenters (usually students) who apply directly through the TIF competition for reduced registration and travel support.
Professional Stream:
For early-career professionals under 35 (or within 5 years of completing their highest degree) not submitting or presenting a paper.
This distinction ensures both presenting and non-presenting participants from developing regions receive equitable opportunities to attend.
TIF Travel Grant Program
A limited number of TIF Travel grants will be offered to enable deserving young authors and officially designated delegates, especially from developing countries, to participate in the XXV ISPRS Congress to be held in Toronto, Canada from 4-11 July 2026. TIF Funds are derived from benevolent individuals, White Elephant Club members, Congress Assistance Grants and the ISPRS Council. Grants will be awarded according to a rigorous selection process as well as the conditions of each of the awards, but is quite sure that there are not enough funds to fully fund all selected candidates. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that applicants also seek additional funds from other sources.
