Toronto is a vibrant, multicultural city with an extensive transportation network that makes it easy to explore during your stay for the ISPRS Congress. The city is served by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), which operates subways, streetcars, and buses throughout the city. Visitors can purchase a PRESTO card or use contactless payment methods, including major credit cards and mobile wallets, for convenient travel on public transit. Click here for more information about fares and passes. Toronto is also highly walkable, particularly in the downtown core, where many hotels, restaurants, attractions, and business districts are located within a short distance of one another. Taxis and ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are widely available. For those who enjoy cycling, Toronto offers a convenient public bike-sharing program, Bike Share Toronto, with thousands of bikes and hundreds of stations located throughout the city. Bikes can be rented for single trips or through day passes, making cycling an enjoyable way to explore Toronto's waterfront, parks, and neighbourhoods. More information on Bike Share Toronto. For travel to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), the UP Express train provides a fast and reliable connection between the airport and Union Station in downtown Toronto, with a travel time of approximately 25 minutes. When planning your travel, allow extra time during peak commuting hours, as traffic can be heavy. Whether you choose public transit, walking, cycling, or ride-sharing, Toronto offers a variety of convenient options to help you navigate the city with ease and enjoy everything it has to offer.
Childcare Service Options
While we do not provide official on-site childcare services, we are pleased to share the contact information of several external childcare providers that may be able to assist you during your stay in Toronto. Please note that any arrangements, bookings, payments, and coordination must be made directly between you and the provider.
