VENUE INFORMATION

The venue for the 2026 Congress is the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC). It is the largest convention centre in Canada, ranking among the top ten largest continuous-space facilities in North America, a world- class, tier-one venue for major conventions, trade and public shows, meetings, galas and banquets  and  a  barrier-free, fully accessible environment, with sophisticated in-house event services.

The ISPRS Congress will  occupy  the  entire  South  Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This exclusivity will allow for branding & sponsorship and many common areas where the delegates can network with their peers. The renovated South Building meeting levels are conveniently connected by multiple escalators and elevators  for  easy flow of delegates.

 

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre features 442,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, 77 meeting rooms, multi-purpose ballrooms, and a theatre equipped for performing arts as well as corporate events. New contemporary meeting rooms now offer events over 11,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space on our South Building’s 600 Level.

Currency

The official currency of Canada is the Canadian Dollar (CAD). Most businesses in Toronto accept major credit cards, and ATMs are widely available throughout the city for cash withdrawals.

Electrical System

In Canada, the electrical system operates at a standard frequency of 60 Hertz (Hz) with a voltage of 120 volts (V). The plug types commonly used are Type A and Type B.
